Filter Plant Retention Pond Upgrade
PWS are currently completing a significant upgrade to a West Coast Mining Filter Plant retention ponds by creating diversion drains and installation / commissioning of pumping infrastructure to improve its containment. The works include:
- Installation of various concrete slabs and pumping infrastructure mounts.
- Installation of two storm water pumps.
- Installation of two pump priming tanks, leaf strainers, flowmeters and vortex breakers.
- Fabrication and installation of all pipework, valves, fittings, and supports associated with the pump station.
- Installation of a new pipeline to and from the pump station
- Rehabilitation of existing pipeline (1,000 m length).
- Cut and fill existing drain to suit new drain layout (135 m length).
- Commissioning and hydrostatic pressure testing
